First Edition. Number 25 of an Edition limited to One Hundred copies, signed by Brian Vesey-Fitzgerald. POst 4to (10 x 8 ins); pp xx, 446. Coloured frontispiece (with short, closed tear at bottom margin) and 80 coloured plates of fishes. Old ownership name scored out on verso of frontis. Publisher's navy blue morocco with a gilt design of fishes to front board and a two men fishing in a boat to the back, shallow bowing to upper board. Gilt lettering to the spine, which has a vertical crease and some surface rubbing to edges; tips of corner bumped, in one case well rubbed. Pictorial endpapers. A VG+ copy. Ernest Hemingway contributed the chapter on "Cuban Fishing".
