Each vol has the following presentation inscription in elegant ink hand to the verso of the first free endpaper: "Annie Bethell, from her loving brother & sister John Henry Lonsdale & Katherine Carr Lonsdale, February 6th, 1890". Edges of some labels chipped, vellum a touch scuffed and soiled in places. Top edges of text blocks in gilt.
