Being a collection of drawings by Charles Mozley to decorate the menu for the guests at a dinner party given at his home at WHICHFORD for George Rainbird on the occasion of his 60th Birthday on the 22nd May 1965

Cloth spine over marbled boards with label lettered in gold stuck down on front cover. Illustrated throughout by British artist and book cover illustrator Charles Mozley (1914-91) including pictures of the dinner menu and the subject, George Rainbird, in various guises. Inscribed by Rainbird to his friends Reresby and Penelope Sitwell, late of Renishaw Hall, Derbyshire, "from the vicitim". A fine copy. George Meadus Rainbird (1905-86) was the founder of the eponymous publishing house George Rainbird Ltd.
