Hardback with the excellent, unclipped, dust-jacket which has an illustration to the front, spine of jacket slightly faded, else near fine. 12 coloured plates by Gwynedd Hudson. Offsetting stain to front endpapers front jacket flaps and some light scattered spots of foxing to endpapers, but NOT text pages. Plates wonderfully clean, each behind a captioned tissue-guard. No old inscriptions or other markings. A near fine copy of this children's classic.
