The brainchild of Manchester-based designer Peter Saville of Pentagram, who also came up with the playful title, the mutation of the artist's name to "Nicknight". Japanese fashion journalist Satoko Nakahara has compiled a biography of the artist using interviews with his friends and famous clients.
