First Edition. Original navy blue cloth boards in the unclipped dust-jacket, which is chipped at ends of the spine and slightly worn at corner tips. Laid down on the first free endpaper is a sticker from publisher Anthony Blond Ltd stating the book is offered by Peter Janson-Smith Ltd on behalf of the famous London publisher. Blond was also her literary agent and later was to commission a novel of a Romeo and Juliet affair in the south London suburbs; under the pseudonym Eliot George, Freeman produced 'The Leather Boys', which was later turned into a film starring Dudley Sutton. 'Fall of Innocence' was her second book following her debut 'The Liberty Man'.
