First Edition. Oblong format. Original yellow cloth with three red fire buckets embossed on the front board, red titles to spine. With the slightly rubbed dust-jacket that is well foxed to verso. Endpapers slightly foxed and text pages somewhat age tanned. A VG+ copy of the first children's book credited to Greene, who was responsible for writing 'The Little Train' some years prior although it was credited to the illustrator Dorothy Craigie.
