They came to England

Amusing yarn, set on a farm on the coast of Brittany, about a family of pigs who get left behind when the farmer and his wife travel by boat to England to settle with their married daughter. No date given, but BL suggest 1946. Oblong (landscape) format. Original cloth boards with the pictorial dust-jacket, very slightly rubbed at ends of the spine. Three colour plates and numerous b/w text illusts, all by Huxtable. One page a touch creased, else pages and pictures clean and bright. Without old names, inscriptions, etc. A near fine copy.
