Scarce booklet on steeplechasing and hunting in west Wales during the middle of the 19th century. 41 pages. 31 plates of photographs. Original printed paper wrappers lettered in black, spine a touch chipped and tip of one corner of lower wrapper lacking. The author was a racing journalist from Llanstephan, Carmarthenshire. Sold together with a facsimile edition published in 1977 by the Cwmnedd Press, Neath. VERY RARE with just one copy located in the UK at the University of Wales.
