Culled from Campbell's original journals, with many notices on natural history and hunting wildlife including a chapter on tigers, and chapters dedicated to bison shooting and hog hunting. Campbell further describes his impressions of Goa, Dharwar, and Bangalore, and his excursions to the Neilgherry Hills, Machilipatnam, and more.
