Original yellow cloth with black design of a bird in full cry to upper board and black title lettering to the spine. With the torn dust-jacket with loss to head of the backstrip of jacket. Contents super-clean without old inscriptions etc. An nice copy of quite a scarce title about how the couple exploring couple came across Raffles in the Malaysian jungle and brought him back to England with them via India, Arabia, and Africa. They discovered he was a rare talking Mynah who progressed from saying "Hello" and "Have a bath" to finally singing the National Anthem. Fun, fun.
