The Rose of Tibet (signed copy)

London: Victor Gollancz, 1962.

First Edition. Publisher's red cloth. With the bright and excellent Gollancz yellow dust-jacket, tiny chip to bottom of the backstrip, otherwise unmarked and extremely clean. Signed by author at the top of the first front endpaper, dated 1980. A fine copy of a thriller set in Tibet at the time of Chinese invasion of 1950. The novel was much admired by Graham Greene who wrote an encomium which appeared on later editions.
