Original green cloth with gilt lettering to front and spine. Internally very clean with some scattered spots of foxing, most significantly to the endpapers. Top edge gilt. An excellent copy, tight and square, without inscriptions, etc. A personal account of boating, trekking and camping in Kashmir. Morison was stationed in Kashmir with her husband, a British army officer. She visited Achibal, Martand Sun Temple, Pahalgam hill station, Lidder Valley, Tarsar Lake, Gulmarg, Sonamarg hill station, Wangath temple, Dal Lake, Haramuk, and other places.
