First edition, first printing, one of only 1,300 copies printed by Print Partners in offset litho. Original royal blue card covers with 'this is tomorrow' in brown and white lettering to front. Ring-bound, with just the bottom coil a touch wonky. Covers slightly soiled, rubbed at extremities and one corner creased. No old inscriptions. Square format. Illustrated. Unpaginated, then 20 pages of advertisements at the back. Scarce.

Catalogue for the post-war show held at the Whitechapel Art Gallery from August 9 to September 9 1956 which featured 12 exhibits made up of collaborations between a variety of architects, painters, sculptors, and other artists. These included Alison and Peter Smithson, Richard Hamilton, Eduardo Paolozzi, Victor Pasmore, Reyner Banham, Victor Pasmore, Erno Goldfinger, Toni del Renzio, and others. The show's most memorable exhibit was created by Group 2 (Richard Hamilton, John Voelcker and John McHale, with help from Magda Cordell and Frank Cordell) which included the instalment titled 'Just what is it that make's today's home so different, so exciting?'.
