With 24 colour plates. A volume in the Sunshine Series, noted for their enlarged text size and 'dainty colour plates'. Other vols in the series include Alice in Wonderland, Mother Goose, The Water Babies. Publisher's pictorial, paper-covered boards with khaki green cloth spine lettered in black. Corner tips lightly rubbed. With the excellent dust-jacket which replicates the picture on front of the book. Couple of repaired closed tears to jacket, nothing serious, spotting to fore edge, still a VG+ copy with charming illustations. Nice and clean, just contemporary gift inscription at the front of the book, dated Christmas 1931.
