Original blue cloth with decorative design of a witch on a broomstick hurtling through the starlit night to front cover and a three-headed giant looming over young Jack to the spine, all in gilt. All edges gilt. Ends of spine gently rolled, corners slightly bumped and spine a touch dulled. Endpapers slightly embrowned. A near fine copy. The first in the Fairy Book Series, stories include "East of the Sun and West of the Moon", "Cinderella", "Snow-white and Rose-red", "The History of Jack the Giant Killer", and "Beauty and Beast" among many others.
