First edition in French of the Rackham-illustrated Snowdrop and Other Tales by the Brothers Grimm. Number 194 of an edition limited to 1,300 copies. Sixteen tipped-in colour plates and nine drawings in black and white. Text laid out within red lined frames. Publisher's original brown-grey cover with the spine lettered in red and most of the publisher's glassine wrapper intact (with a quite large piece missing from the front panel). Spine a touch creased with very small loss to the head and tail (virtually nothing in fact). Scarce in this nice, clean and original condition.
