Obtainable from Mrs Peter Bevan, 9 Hamilton Terrace, NW8. Undated, probably about 1920. 24 pages. Contains around 50 recipes and a helpful list of twelve "hints" including such gems as "the crispness of a lettuce can be retained for several days by keeping them in a biscuit tin with a well-fitted lid" and "peeled apples can be prevented from discolouring by covering with cold salted water". Covers soiled and contents browned. Uncommon.
