Tall 8vo. 16 mounted colour plates, by Willy Pogany. Both plates and accompanying verses framed in decorative blue borders, with additional decorations also in blue. Rebound in full calf with gilt ornaments to spine and contrasting Morocco labels in red and green. Gilt turn-ins. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. An extremely handsome copy with illustrations by Hungarian artists Willy Pogany (1882-1955). Text based on Edward Fitzgerald's first translation of 1859.
