Crown 8vo (7.5 x 5 ins) pp [4] + 289 + [2]; colored frontispiece. This variant edition has a list of Jules Verne's Books for Boys printed on verso of the half-title. Publisher's pictorial cloth in beige and light blue depicting a city of onion domed edifices, end of the spine slightly rolled and tip of on corner dented. Marginal browning, as usual, and light spots of foxing to endpapers.
A VG and tight copy with no old inscriptions or other internal markings.
