This books is a glorious piss-take of these folk and the conflicting interests they 'share' with the locals. Meynell mainly known for his crime fiction novels, some published under his own name, but also children's fiction under the pseudonyms A. Stephen Tring and Valerie Baxter. He also wrote as Robert Eton and Geoffrey Ludlow. Original light blue cloth with the excellent and unclipped dust-jacket, ends of spine slightly rubbed.
