Original oatmeal quarter cloth over blue paper boards, fore edge untrimmed. With the buff dust-wrapper, which is split at the spine with a couple of small, triangular pieces torn from rear panel. Signed by author to titlepage, with another gift inscription "for John Naylor", dated 1969. Bookplate of Ralph Woodford Saint Hill. Dealer's ticket of Henry Sotheran Ltd laid down at foot of front pastedown.
