Original yellow publisher's cloth; 318 pages; colour frontispiece of the author (painted by Henry Lamb in 1926) and a folding map of Guiana opposite p196; top corner of front endpaper neatly snipped off. Jacket not price-clipped but rubbed and chipped along the top edge and head and tail of the spine, spine also slightly toned; no marking or previous owner's names.
