A near fine set without inscriptions etc. The definitive text of Proust's modernist classic, edited by Pierre Clarac and André Ferré, was published in the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade in 1954. This edition is based on the Pléiade text, Terence Kilmartin has revised Scott Moncrieff's original English translation and incorporated new material. Notes, addenda and synopses are included in each volume.
