Their playground was the the Kings Road, Chelsea; the fashion stportoblores along Carnaby Street; at Biba in Kensington, and hanging among the market stalls of Portobello Road. Frank Habicht was born in Hamburg during the second World War. His photos capture the scene in swinging sixties London, with mostly anonymous but beautiful young people cutting a pose and looking effortlessly cool. Look closely and you will spot some famous faces, including Mick Jagger and Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones, folk singer Donovan, photographer David Bailey, and Ronnie Wood, in his days with the Faces, walking down the King's Road with a small dog on a lead! In the Technical Data notes, the photographer records that nearly "250 rolls of film were used to arrive finally at 92 pages of photographs: 7 months' shooting time".
