Swaine) In the original publisher's white cloth with gilt title lettering to spine, spines somewhat darkened; upper boards decorated with an arresting cross design in gilt lines with four-petal floral emblems and central orange tudor rose. Top edges of the text block gilt, fore edges untrimmed. Boards slightly rubbed at extremities with a couple of small stains to spine of vol II. Internally unmarked. An extremely clean and bright set of this uncommon work by Waite, a scholarly mystic poet and investigator into the history of western occultism.
