First Edition. Publisher's red cloth with gilt vignette to upper board which is a reproduced in silhouette on the back panel of the striking dust-jacket designed by Disley Jones (1926-2005), better known a stage and film set designer. 160 pages. Illustrations in the text and across the endpapers, also by Jones. Jacket lightly rubbed at head and tail, but not price-clipped. A VG+ copy of this delightful book for children.
