First Edition. With 8 lithographs by Barnett Freedman printed in black and green or yellow. 30 x 20 cms. Original linen wrappers over card with sewn spine, ten designs overall including several full page examples, with an overall colour palette of grey, green and yellow by Barnett Freedman, incorporating the his scrolled lettering, a pastoral scene on the front panel, and two further designs - wheat & barrels and cheese & wine glass - on flaps. Ends of spine slightly chipped, corner tips vaguely rubbed, without internal markings or old inscriptions. A VG+ copy. Written and illustrated by Barnett Freedman, the images and accompanying text show how cheese is made from the milking of the cow to the after dinner cheese board.
