Medium 8vo (240 mm); 53 engraved plates in total, extremely clean with no foxing; full calf bindings with two green labels to spines which have been divided into six compartments by raised bands, gilt lettering and decorations; very slight rubbing to spine edges and tips of corners. A Fine set. Béranger (1780-1857) was a prolific French poet and songwriter, sometimes referred to as the 'first superstar' of French popular music.
